Overview
Carrollwood took shape in the 1960s as a planned community built around Lake Carroll and a private country club, and that original layout still defines much of the area today: curving streets, mature oak canopy, and lake-view lots that rarely come up for sale without drawing attention. Newer sections have filled in around the original village over the decades since.
It's one of the more established, amenity-rich addresses in northern Tampa, close to Tampa International Airport and the Dale Mabry corridor's shops and restaurants.
